The ELBHO Foundation applies two types of conditions for the purpose of accreditation as an ELBHO Accredited Internship Company for Higher Ecuation®, being the conditions for the organization and the conditions for (potential) company supervisors.
Conditions for the organization:
- Your organization has at least 5.0 FTE employees, at Bachelor’s/Master’s level.
- Your organization has existed for more than 2 years and has impeccable behaviour.
- There are sufficient facilities to place trainees/graduates (workplace, supervision time, technical aids).
- The student receives an internship allowance in accordance with the ELBHO® guideline.
- The student works on assignments that are representative of the intended degree of growth and development.
- The student is enabled to work on his/her competences in a practice-oriented setting.
Conditions for a company supervisor (1 primary, 1 secondary at minimum):
- The company supervisor has demonstrable experience in the field/sector in which the intended student will do an internship/graduation.
- The company supervisor has also completed a course in higher education.
- The company supervisor has acquainted themself with the requirements set by a study program for internships and/or graduation.
- A substitute company supervisor is employed at all times, who can take over the supervision of the student in the absence of the (primary) company supervisor.
